Construction Safety (B.Pharma Required) - Gurgaon (3-5 Yrs)

Role Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Construction Safety Officer with a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma) degree and 3-5 years of experience to join our team in Gurgaon. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations and implementing robust safety protocols across all construction projects within our petrochemical and plastics facilities. This role requires a unique blend of scientific understanding, attention to detail, and practical safety management skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety plans and procedures for construction sites, ensuring compliance with all relevant national and local safety regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to identify potential hazards, assess risks, and recommend corrective actions.
- Investigate all accidents, incidents, and near misses, preparing detailed reports and implementing preventive measures.
- Monitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure its proper functioning and availability.
- Oversee the safe handling and storage of hazardous materials, drawing upon knowledge of chemical properties and safety data sheets (SDS).
- Deliver safety training programs to construction workers and site personnel, focusing on hazard recognition and safe work practices.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations related to construction activities.
- Maintain accurate safety records and documentation, including permits, inspection reports, and training logs.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to integrate safety into all phases of the construction lifecycle.
- Stay updated on the latest safety standards, technologies, and best practices in the construction and petrochemical industries.
