Role Summary: We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious individual to join our team as a Construction Safety Assistant. This entry-level role is crucial for ensuring a safe working environment during our logistics infrastructure development projects in Coimbatore. You will work closely with the safety team to implement and monitor safety protocols, gain hands-on experience in construction site safety management, and contribute to a culture of safety within the organization. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a keen interest in safety and a desire to learn within the fast-paced logistics industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in conducting daily safety inspections and hazard identification on construction sites.
Help in maintaining safety records, incident reports, and compliance documentation.
Support the senior safety officer in implementing safety training programs for site personnel.
Ensure adherence to safety guidelines and regulations by all workers on site.
Participate in safety toolbox talks and awareness sessions.
Assist in the proper storage and handling of construction materials and equipment from a safety perspective.
Report any unsafe conditions or practices immediately to the supervisor.
Gain practical knowledge of personal protective equipment (PPE) usage and enforcement.
