Construction Safety Officer

Role Summary:
Technicolor India is seeking a diligent and experienced Construction Safety Officer to oversee and implement comprehensive safety protocols across all construction and renovation projects within our facilities in India. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and promote a culture of safety awareness among all personnel involved in construction activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and enforce site-specific safety plans and procedures for all construction activities.
• Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Investigate all accidents, incidents, and near misses, preparing detailed reports and recommending corrective actions.
• Provide safety training and education to construction workers, supervisors, and other site personnel.
• Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and maintain safety equipment.
• Liaise with government safety inspectors and ensure all necessary permits and documentation are in order.
• Maintain accurate safety records and documentation, including incident reports, training logs, and inspection findings.
• Promote a proactive safety culture and encourage employee participation in safety initiatives.
