Contract Floor / Building Manager (2-3 Yrs)

Role Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Floor / Building Manager with 2-3 years of experience, holding a Master of Design (M.Des) degree, to oversee the operational efficiency and aesthetic appeal of our facilities in Surat. This role requires a unique blend of design thinking and practical facility management to ensure a safe, functional, and well-maintained environment that supports our port and shipping operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement space utilization strategies to optimize floor layouts and building functionality, leveraging M.Des principles.

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the building, including maintenance, repairs, security, and housekeeping, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Manage vendor contracts and service providers, ensuring quality of work and cost-effectiveness.

Coordinate minor interior design and renovation projects, ensuring they align with company standards and operational needs.

Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify and address any potential hazards or maintenance issues.

Manage visitor and employee access control, ensuring a secure environment.

Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders to address facility-related concerns.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inventory.
