Role Summary:
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Contract Retail Cashier with 1-3 years of experience and a Master of Design (M.Des) degree to join our team in Guwahati. This role is crucial for managing daily financial transactions, ensuring accuracy, and providing excellent customer service within our retail touchpoints. The ideal candidate will leverage their design thinking and analytical skills to optimize processes and enhance the customer experience at the point of sale.

Key Responsibilities:

- Accurately process customer transactions, including cash, card, and other payment methods, ensuring all sales are recorded correctly.
- Manage the cash drawer, including opening, closing, and reconciling daily balances.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues with professionalism and efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized cash counter area, adhering to company standards.
- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment as needed.
- Utilize design principles to create visually appealing and user-friendly transaction interfaces or customer communication materials at the point of sale.
- Analyze customer interaction data to identify areas for process improvement and enhance the overall retail experience.
- Collaborate with store management to ensure compliance with all financial policies and procedures.
- Stay updated on product knowledge and promotional offers to effectively assist customers.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the management.
