Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook to join our dynamic food processing team in Mangalore. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in culinary operations and a Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) degree, bringing a unique blend of technical understanding and practical kitchen expertise. This role involves preparing high-quality food products, maintaining strict hygiene standards, and contributing to process optimization within our food manufacturing unit.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a variety of food items according to standardized recipes and quality control procedures.
Operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
Ensure adherence to all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations (e.g., HACCP, FSSAI standards).
Manage inventory of ingredients and supplies, ensuring proper storage and rotation.
Assist in recipe development and process improvement initiatives, leveraging analytical skills from BCA background.
Maintain accurate production records and reports.
Collaborate with the production team to meet daily targets and quality standards.
