Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Copy Editor with 2-3 years of experience to join our team in Chandigarh. This role is crucial for ensuring the accuracy, clarity, and consistency of all written content related to our airline operations and customer communications. While the primary focus is on editorial excellence, a B.Tech/B.E. background indicates a strong analytical aptitude and ability to grasp technical concepts, which will be valuable in understanding aviation-related content.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and edit a wide range of materials, including website copy, marketing collateral, press releases, internal communications, and operational documents, for grammar, spelling, punctuation, style, and factual accuracy.
- Ensure all content adheres to Air India's brand voice, style guides, and editorial standards.
- Collaborate with marketing, communications, and technical teams to ensure content is clear, concise, and effective.
- Fact-check information and verify the accuracy of technical details, especially concerning aircraft specifications, flight schedules, and safety protocols.
- Proofread final versions of content before publication or distribution.
- Suggest improvements to content structure and flow to enhance readability and engagement.
- Maintain a glossary of aviation-specific terms and ensure consistent usage.
