Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Corporate Development Analyst to join our team. The analyst will play a crucial role in identifying, evaluating, and executing strategic growth opportunities, including mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships, within the Indian pulp and paper market. This role requires a strong understanding of financial modeling, market analysis, and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive market research and competitive analysis to identify potential growth areas and strategic initiatives.
- Develop detailed financial models, valuation analyses, and due diligence processes for potential M&A targets and strategic investments.
- Prepare presentations and reports for senior management on strategic recommendations, investment opportunities, and market trends.
- Support the negotiation and execution of transactions, working closely with internal legal, finance, and operational teams, as well as external advisors.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of existing strategic partnerships and investments.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and macroeconomic factors impacting the pulp and paper sector in India.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic plans.
