Cost Accountant

We are seeking a meticulous and analytical Cost Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for tracking, analyzing, and reporting on costs associated with our operations and financial products. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and cost management techniques within the NBFC sector.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain cost accounting systems and procedures.
• Analyze variances between actual costs and standard costs, and investigate significant differences.
• Prepare regular cost reports, including budget vs. actual analysis.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather cost data and improve cost control measures.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements specific to NBFCs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Cost Accountant, preferably within the NBFC sector.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles, methods, and systems.
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
