Role Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Cost Accountant to join our finance team. The Cost Accountant will be responsible for analyzing financial data, managing cost accounting systems, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making. This role is crucial in ensuring the accuracy of cost information and optimizing financial performance within our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain cost accounting systems and policies.
- Analyze manufacturing and operational costs, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.
- Prepare cost reports, budgets, and forecasts.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
- Conduct variance analysis and cost-benefit analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather cost data and ensure accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
