Costume Designer

We are seeking a talented and creative Costume Designer to join our dynamic team at Yash Raj Films. The Costume Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and executing costumes for our upcoming film projects, ensuring they align with the characters, period, and overall vision of the film. This role requires a strong understanding of fashion history, textiles, and the ability to collaborate effectively with directors, actors, and the production team.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the director and production designer to develop the visual concept for costumes.

Research historical periods, cultural influences, and current fashion trends relevant to the film.

Sketch and present costume designs for approval.

Select fabrics, materials, and accessories for costumes.

Oversee the creation, fitting, and alteration of costumes, working closely with tailors and wardrobe assistants.

Manage the costume budget and ensure timely delivery of all wardrobe elements.

Maintain the costume department's inventory and ensure costumes are properly cared for.
