Costume Designer - Retail Sector (3-4 Yrs)

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Costume Designer with 3-4 years of experience to join our growing retail team in Mangalore. The ideal candidate will have a Master of Technology (M.Tech) degree and a strong understanding of fabric, design principles, and current fashion trends. You will be responsible for conceptualizing and creating visually appealing costumes and apparel for various retail lines, ensuring brand consistency and market appeal.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop innovative costume designs for new product lines, seasonal collections, and marketing campaigns.

Translate design concepts into detailed sketches, technical drawings, and material specifications.

Collaborate with product development teams, merchandisers, and marketing to ensure designs meet aesthetic and commercial objectives.

Select appropriate fabrics, trims, and embellishments, considering cost, durability, and visual impact.

Oversee the creation of prototypes and samples, providing feedback to pattern makers and sewers.

Stay updated on emerging fashion trends, cultural influences, and technological advancements in costume design.

Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines and target market preferences.
