Crane Operator

Role Summary: We are seeking an experienced and skilled Crane Operator to join our dynamic team at Jindal Steel & Power Limited. The Crane Operator will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating various types of cranes to lift, move, and position materials within the plant premises. This role is crucial for maintaining smooth material flow and supporting production operations in our iron and steel manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate overhead cranes, gantry cranes, and other lifting equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow all safety regulations and company policies during crane operations.
• Inspect cranes and lifting equipment before and after each shift, reporting any defects or malfunctions.
• Understand and interpret load charts and crane specifications.
• Communicate effectively with ground personnel and other team members to ensure coordinated lifting operations.
• Perform routine maintenance and lubrication of crane equipment as required.
• Maintain accurate records of crane usage, inspections, and any incidents.
• Assist in rigging and slinging operations when necessary.
