Crane Operator

Role Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Crane Operator with a Diploma in a relevant field to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience operating various types of cranes safely and efficiently on large-scale urban transport projects. You will be responsible for lifting and moving materials, ensuring the smooth execution of construction activities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate cranes (e.g., tower cranes, mobile cranes, crawler cranes) in a safe and efficient manner according to project plans and safety regulations.
- Perform pre-operation checks and routine maintenance on cranes to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Accurately interpret load charts and lift plans to determine safe lifting capacities and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with ground crew and supervisors using hand signals and radio communication.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures and site-specific safety rules.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately to the supervisor.
- Maintain accurate logs of crane operations, including hours of operation and any incidents.
- Assist in rigging and signaling for lifts as required.
