Credit Manager

Role Summary: The Credit Manager will be responsible for managing the company's credit policies, assessing creditworthiness of new and existing clients, and ensuring timely recovery of outstanding payments. This role is crucial for maintaining healthy cash flow and mitigating financial risks for the company.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement credit control policies and procedures.

Evaluate the creditworthiness of potential and existing customers through financial statement analysis, credit reports, and other relevant data.

Set credit limits for customers and monitor adherence to these limits.

Manage the accounts receivable ledger and ensure accurate and timely invoicing.

Oversee the collection of overdue accounts, including implementing collection strategies and negotiating payment plans.

Liaise with legal and sales departments on credit-related issues and legal actions.

Prepare regular reports on credit exposure, aging of receivables, and collection performance for senior management.

Stay updated on industry credit trends and regulatory changes.
