Job Description
Role Summary: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Credit Manager to oversee and manage the creditworthiness of our clients and partners. The Credit Manager will be responsible for assessing credit risks, establishing credit policies, and ensuring timely recovery of dues, thereby safeguarding the company's financial health.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate the creditworthiness of new and existing clients by analyzing financial statements, credit reports, and market information.
Develop and implement credit policies and procedures to minimize credit risk and optimize cash flow.
Set credit limits and terms for customers based on risk assessment and company guidelines.
Monitor accounts receivable and ensure timely collection of outstanding debts.
Manage and resolve credit-related issues and disputes with clients.
Prepare regular reports on credit exposure, aging of receivables, and collection performance for senior management.
Liaise with legal and recovery teams for any necessary actions on delinquent accounts.
Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes affecting credit management.
