Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and analytical Credit Risk professional with 3-4 years of experience to join our team in Thane. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of credit risk principles and a Master of Science degree, with a focus on contributing to the assessment and management of credit risk within the insurance sector. You will play a crucial role in evaluating counterparty creditworthiness, monitoring portfolio risk, and supporting strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct thorough credit analysis of potential and existing counterparties (e.g., reinsurers, investment counterparties) to assess their financial strength and credit risk profile.
* Develop, implement, and monitor credit risk models and methodologies to quantify potential losses and assess portfolio risk.
* Prepare detailed credit risk reports and present findings and recommendations to senior management and relevant committees.
* Monitor economic and industry trends that may impact credit risk and proactively identify potential areas of concern.
* Collaborate with other departments, including Investments, Underwriting, and Finance, to ensure a holistic approach to risk management.
* Ensure compliance with internal credit policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
* Contribute to the development and enhancement of credit risk management frameworks and tools.
