Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate with a strong understanding of legal principles, particularly in the areas of crime and arbitration, to join our growing legal team in Ahmedabad. This role is ideal for an LLB graduate with 1-4 years of experience who is eager to contribute to complex legal matters within a dynamic IT services and consulting environment. You will assist in managing legal disputes, conducting research, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist senior legal counsel in managing and resolving arbitration proceedings, including document review and preparation.
- Conduct thorough legal research on criminal law, contract law, and other relevant statutes applicable to IT services and consulting.
- Support the investigation and resolution of potential criminal matters impacting the company.
- Draft and review legal documents, such as notices, affidavits, and settlement agreements.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable Indian laws and regulations, including data privacy and intellectual property.
- Liaise with external legal counsel, law enforcement agencies, and regulatory bodies as required.
- Maintain accurate legal records and databases.
- Provide legal support to various business units on matters related to dispute resolution and compliance.
