Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Criminal Law Associate with 2-3 years of experience to join our legal team in Kolkata. The ideal candidate will assist in managing and resolving criminal law matters relevant to the real estate sector, ensuring compliance and mitigating risks for the company. This role requires a strong understanding of Indian criminal laws and their application within the real estate industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and analysis on criminal law issues pertaining to real estate transactions and disputes.
- Assist in drafting legal documents, including notices, affidavits, petitions, and replies related to criminal cases.
- Support senior legal counsel in preparing for and attending court hearings, client meetings, and internal discussions.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with all applicable criminal laws and regulations affecting the real estate business.
- Investigate and gather evidence for ongoing criminal cases, liaising with relevant authorities and stakeholders.
- Provide legal opinions and advice on criminal law matters to various departments within the company.
- Manage case files, maintain accurate records, and ensure timely filing of all necessary legal documents.
- Assist in developing strategies for dispute resolution and litigation in criminal matters.
