Job Description

Role Summary: Teach For India is seeking a passionate and innovative Curriculum Designer with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree and 3-6 years of experience to develop engaging and effective learning materials for our fellowship program. You will play a crucial role in shaping the educational experience of our fellows and, by extension, the students they teach. This role requires a strong understanding of pedagogical principles, curriculum development methodologies, and a commitment to educational equity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop comprehensive curriculum modules, lesson plans, and learning resources aligned with Teach For India's pedagogical approach and educational goals.
  • Collaborate with program managers, instructional designers, and subject matter experts to ensure curriculum content is accurate, relevant, and impactful.
  • Incorporate evidence-based teaching strategies and assessment methods into curriculum design.
  • Adapt and revise existing curriculum materials based on feedback, pilot testing, and evolving educational best practices.
  • Ensure curriculum materials are accessible, inclusive, and cater to diverse learning needs.
  • Contribute to the creation of facilitator guides and training materials for program delivery.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and research in curriculum development, educational technology, and pedagogy.
