Cyber Security Analyst

Role Summary:
Pepperfry is seeking a proactive and skilled Cyber Security Analyst to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safeguarding our digital assets, identifying vulnerabilities, and implementing robust security measures to protect our e-commerce platform, customer data, and internal systems from cyber threats. This role is crucial in maintaining the trust and security of our operations in the fast-paced online furniture retail sector.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor security alerts and events from various security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, endpoint protection).
- Investigate and respond to security incidents, including data breaches, malware infections, and unauthorized access attempts.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in systems and applications.
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Manage and maintain security infrastructure, including firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection systems.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cyber security threats, trends, and technologies.
- Provide security awareness training to employees.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure security is integrated into all stages of the software development lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with relevant data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, Indian data privacy laws).
