Cyber Security / IT Risk - 2-3 Yrs

Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cyber Security / IT Risk professional with 2-3 years of experience and an LLB degree to join our team in Coimbatore. This role will be instrumental in safeguarding our industrial machinery operations and IT infrastructure against evolving cyber threats. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks related to data protection and cybersecurity, coupled with practical knowledge of risk assessment and mitigation strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses of IT systems and industrial control systems (ICS).
- Develop and implement cybersecurity policies, procedures, and guidelines in compliance with relevant Indian and international regulations (e.g., IT Act, GDPR principles).
- Assist in incident response planning and execution, including investigation and remediation of security breaches.
- Monitor security alerts and log files for suspicious activities and potential threats.
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure adherence to data privacy laws and contractual obligations.
- Provide training and awareness programs on cybersecurity best practices to employees.
- Stay updated on emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies relevant to the industrial equipment sector.
- Support the development and maintenance of IT security architecture and controls.
- Assist in the review and negotiation of IT security clauses in vendor contracts and third-party agreements.
