Data / Big Data Testing Engineer

Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Data / Big Data Testing Engineer with 1-5 years of experience to join our growing team in Lucknow. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of our data pipelines and big data solutions, supporting our critical operations in the agrochemical sector. This role requires a strong understanding of data testing principles and hands-on experience with big data technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for data pipelines, ETL processes, and big data applications.
- Perform data validation, data integrity checks, and data quality assessments across various data sources and platforms.
- Identify, document, and track defects, and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and business analysts to understand data requirements and ensure testing coverage.
- Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks for big data environments.
- Analyze large datasets to identify anomalies, inconsistencies, and performance bottlenecks.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
- Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies.
