Job Description
We are seeking a motivated Data / Big Data Testing Engineer with 2-3 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Guwahati. The ideal candidate will have a strong B.Sc background and a passion for ensuring the quality and integrity of our data platforms and social impact analytics. You will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and executing test strategies for large-scale data systems and applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for data pipelines, ETL processes, and big data solutions.
Perform various types of testing, including functional, integration, performance, and regression testing on big data platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
Validate data accuracy, consistency, and completeness across different data sources and systems.
Identify, document, and track defects, and work closely with developers to resolve them.
Contribute to the improvement of testing methodologies and processes within the organization.
Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure test coverage.
