Data Centre Ops and Server Management

Role Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Data Centre Operations and Server Management professional to join our dynamic IT infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth, efficient, and secure operation of our data centre facilities and server environments, supporting our critical FinTech operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain the physical data centre environment, including power, cooling, and rack infrastructure.

Install, configure, and manage server hardware (e.g., Dell, HP, IBM) and operating systems (Windows Server, Linux).

Monitor server performance, availability, and capacity, implementing proactive measures to prevent issues.

Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery planning and testing.

Implement and manage security measures to protect server infrastructure and data.

Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner.

Manage vendor relationships for hardware, software, and data centre services.

Maintain accurate documentation of data centre infrastructure, configurations, and procedures.

Participate in on-call rotation for incident response and emergency support.
