Data Centre Ops and Server Management

Role Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Centre Operations and Server Management professional to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a Master of Technology (M.Tech) degree and 4-6 years of hands-on experience in managing and maintaining robust data centre infrastructure and server environments. You will be responsible for ensuring the high availability, performance, and security of our critical IT systems, which are vital to our operations in the travel and tourism sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the data centre, including monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware and software systems.

Manage and maintain server infrastructure (physical and virtual), ensuring optimal performance, uptime, and scalability.

Implement and manage server operating systems (Windows Server, Linux) and related services.

Perform regular system backups, disaster recovery planning, and testing.

Monitor network performance and security, and implement necessary upgrades and patches.

Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex server and data centre issues in a timely manner.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new projects and infrastructure enhancements.

Ensure compliance with IT security policies and industry best practices.
