Data Centre Ops and Server Management - Industrial Equipment / Machinery Sector

Role Summary: We are seeking a skilled Data Centre Operations and Server Management professional with 3-4 years of experience to join our team in Thane. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth, efficient, and secure operation of our data centre infrastructure, supporting critical business functions within the industrial equipment and machinery sector. This role requires a strong understanding of server hardware, operating systems, network services, and data centre best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain server hardware (physical and virtual) across various platforms (e.g., Windows Server, Linux).

Perform regular system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting of server and network issues.

Implement and manage backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and business continuity.

Ensure data centre security through access control, patch management, and vulnerability assessments.

Maintain data centre environmental controls (e.g., cooling, power) and respond to alerts.

Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.

Collaborate with IT teams to support application deployments and infrastructure upgrades.

Provide support for end-users for server-related issues.
