Data Engineer

Role Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with 3-6 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Chandigarh. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in data warehousing, ETL processes, and big data technologies, coupled with a B.Sc degree. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and infrastructure to support our business intelligence and analytics initiatives within the Ports & Shipping industry.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for various data sources.
- Build and optimize data models and data warehouses for analytical reporting and business intelligence.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions.
- Implement data quality checks and ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance, identifying and resolving issues proactively.
- Develop and maintain data dictionaries and documentation for data assets.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data engineering and apply them to improve existing processes.
