Role Summary:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and infrastructure to support our oil and gas operations. You will work closely with geoscientists, reservoir engineers, and business analysts to transform raw data into actionable insights that drive critical business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines using various data integration tools and technologies.
- Build and optimize data models and databases for efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Implement data quality checks and validation processes to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Develop and manage data warehousing solutions.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance and resolve issues proactively.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging data engineering trends and technologies.
- Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations.
