Role Summary:
We are seeking a Junior Data Engineer with a background in Business Administration to join our dynamic team in Chennai. This role is ideal for an enthusiastic individual with 0-2 years of experience who is eager to apply their analytical and problem-solving skills to the hospitality sector. You will support the data infrastructure, contribute to data pipelines, and help generate insights that drive business decisions within IHCL.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Perform data cleaning, transformation, and preparation for analysis and reporting.
- Support the monitoring and optimization of data systems to ensure data quality and accessibility.
- Generate reports and dashboards to visualize key business metrics.
- Learn and apply best practices in data management and governance.
- Contribute to the documentation of data processes and systems.
- Work with various data sources, including transactional, operational, and customer data.
