Role Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Data Platform Engineer to join our dynamic team at BookMyShow. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable and reliable data infrastructure that powers our analytics, reporting, and machine learning initiatives. This role requires a strong understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and cloud-based data solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable data pipelines (ETL/ELT) using various tools and technologies.
- Build and optimize data warehouses and data lakes to support analytical and reporting needs.
- Implement and manage data infrastructure on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data platforms.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and software engineers to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data platform performance, identifying and resolving issues proactively.
- Develop and maintain data governance policies and procedures.
