We are seeking a skilled Database Administrator with 3-5 years of experience and an M.Tech degree to join our dynamic retail technology team in Mangalore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, performance tuning, and maintenance of our critical database systems, ensuring high availability and data integrity. You will play a vital role in supporting our expanding retail operations through robust database management.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and upgrade database software and related products.
Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations.
Implement and maintain database security measures, including user access control and data encryption.
Develop and execute backup and recovery strategies to ensure data protection and business continuity.
Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure efficient database design and query performance.
Perform regular database maintenance, including patching and integrity checks.
Document database configurations, procedures, and standards.
