Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Database Architect / Designer to join our growing team at BYJU'S. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing scalable and efficient database solutions to support our rapidly expanding educational platform. You will play a crucial role in ensuring data integrity, performance, and security across our various applications and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement robust, scalable, and high-performance database architectures (relational and NoSQL).
- Develop and maintain data models, schemas, and dictionaries.
- Optimize database performance through query tuning, indexing strategies, and hardware/software configuration.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand data requirements and translate them into database solutions.
- Evaluate and recommend new database technologies and tools.
- Develop and implement database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Mentor junior database administrators and developers.
