We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Database Architect/Designer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing robust and scalable database solutions that support our critical healthcare and life sciences operations. You will play a key role in ensuring data integrity, performance, and security across our enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop high-performance, scalable, and secure database architectures.
Create conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
Define database standards, guidelines, and best practices.
Collaborate with development teams to translate business requirements into database solutions.
Optimize database performance, including query tuning and indexing strategies.
Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Evaluate and recommend database technologies and tools.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior database administrators.
