Role Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Database Developer/Engineer to join our dynamic IT team at HDFC Bank. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining robust and scalable database solutions to support our diverse banking operations. You will play a crucial role in ensuring data integrity, performance, and security across various database systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
- Develop and maintain database schemas, tables, indexes, and other database objects.
- Implement and manage database performance tuning and optimization strategies.
- Collaborate with application developers to integrate database solutions with business applications.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with banking regulations.
- Participate in database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues.
- Stay updated with the latest database technologies and best practices.
