Role Summary: Khaitan & Co is seeking a skilled and experienced Database Manager to oversee the design, implementation, maintenance, and security of our firm's databases. The Database Manager will be responsible for ensuring data integrity, availability, and performance, supporting our legal professionals with efficient access to critical information.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable database systems (SQL, NoSQL).
- Implement and manage database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize queries and structures.
- Ensure database security, including access control, user permissions, and data encryption.
- Collaborate with IT and legal teams to understand data requirements and provide solutions.
- Manage database upgrades, patches, and migrations.
- Develop and maintain documentation for database systems and procedures.
- Provide technical support and training to users on database-related matters.
