Deck Cadet - Beauty & Personal Care (3-4 Yrs Exp)

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Deck Cadet with 3-4 years of experience and an M.Sc degree to join our dynamic team in Kochi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in the efficient and safe operation of our maritime assets, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies. This role requires a strong understanding of maritime operations and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Chief Officer and other senior officers in the day-to-day operations of the vessel.

Participate in watchkeeping duties, ensuring the safety and security of the vessel, crew, and cargo.

Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of deck equipment and machinery.

Ensure adherence to all maritime safety regulations, including SOLAS and MARPOL.

Assist in cargo operations, including loading, unloading, and stowage.

Maintain accurate logs and records of all shipboard activities.

Participate in emergency drills and respond effectively to any incidents.

Contribute to a positive and safe working environment onboard.
