Deck Fitter / Welder

Role Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Deck Fitter / Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing metal structures and components, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. This role is crucial for maintaining and enhancing the infrastructure we manage.

Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.

Cut, shape, and assemble metal components using various welding techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick).

Perform welding operations on decks, structural steel, and other metal parts.

Inspect and test welds for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.

Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools.

Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with company and industry regulations.

Collaborate with other trades and team members to complete projects.

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing structures.
