Deck Fitter / Welder

Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Deck Fitter / Welder with a BBA/BBM degree and 6-6 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Jaipur. This role is crucial for ensuring the structural integrity and functionality of our packaging machinery and equipment. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of technical aptitude and business acumen, enabling them to contribute to both operational efficiency and project management aspects of equipment maintenance and fabrication.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform welding and fabrication tasks on various metal components for packaging machinery, ensuring adherence to quality standards and safety protocols.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to accurately fit and assemble components.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of deck equipment, identifying and rectifying any structural or functional issues.
- Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and implement effective repair solutions.
- Manage inventory of welding materials and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels and proper storage.
- Assist in the planning and execution of small-scale fabrication projects, including material procurement and cost estimation.
- Maintain detailed records of welding activities, maintenance performed, and materials used.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for enhanced efficiency and cost savings in fabrication and maintenance operations.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and company policies.
