Deck Fitter / Welder

Role Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Deck Fitter / Welder to join our facilities management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal structures and components within our corporate office environment. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of welding techniques and safety protocols. The primary focus will be on maintaining and enhancing the structural integrity and aesthetic appeal of our office spaces, including any specialized areas that may require metalwork.

Key Responsibilities:

Fabricate, cut, and shape metal materials according to blueprints and specifications.

Perform various welding operations (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick) to join metal parts and create strong, durable connections.

Inspect and test welds for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.

Assemble and install metal structures, fixtures, and components within the office premises.

Repair existing metal structures, including furniture, partitions, and building elements.

Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work orders.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety regulations and procedures.

Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools.

Collaborate with the facilities management team to plan and execute projects.
