We are seeking a meticulous and analytical Demand Planner with 2-4 years of experience and a Master of Design (M.Des) degree to join our dynamic team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for forecasting product demand, optimizing inventory levels, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure supply chain efficiency. Your design thinking background will be crucial in developing innovative solutions to complex supply chain challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop accurate demand forecasts using statistical models and market insights, considering product lifecycle and market trends.

Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to gather input for forecast accuracy and identify potential demand drivers or risks.

Optimize inventory levels to meet service level targets while minimizing holding costs and obsolescence.

Analyze historical sales data and market intelligence to identify patterns and anomalies affecting demand.

Utilize design thinking principles to identify areas for process improvement within the demand planning function.

Prepare and present demand planning reports and insights to senior management.

Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to forecast accuracy, inventory, and service levels.
