Demand Planner

Role Summary: The Demand Planner will be responsible for forecasting and planning demand for medical supplies, pharmaceuticals, and equipment across Apollo Hospitals' network. This role is crucial for ensuring optimal inventory levels, minimizing stockouts, and reducing wastage, thereby contributing to efficient hospital operations and cost savings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop accurate demand forecasts for various medical products using historical data, market trends, and input from stakeholders.
• Collaborate with procurement, supply chain, and clinical departments to understand demand drivers and align planning with business objectives.
• Monitor inventory levels and identify potential stockouts or overstock situations, taking proactive measures to address them.
• Analyze forecast accuracy and implement improvements to forecasting methodologies.
• Prepare and present demand planning reports to management, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement in demand planning and inventory management.
