Role Summary:
Pratham Education Foundation seeks a meticulous and analytical Demand Planner to support its large-scale educational programs across India. The Demand Planner will be responsible for forecasting, planning, and managing the demand for educational materials, resources, and program-related supplies to ensure timely and efficient delivery to various project sites. This role is crucial in optimizing inventory levels and minimizing waste, thereby maximizing the impact of Pratham's initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop accurate demand forecasts for educational materials, training kits, and other program supplies based on historical data, program schedules, and stakeholder input.

Collaborate with program managers, field teams, and procurement to understand future needs and align demand plans accordingly.

Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimal stock to meet program requirements while minimizing holding costs and obsolescence.

Identify potential supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Analyze demand patterns and provide insights to improve planning processes and resource allocation.

Prepare regular reports on demand forecasts, inventory status, and supply chain performance for management review.

Support the procurement team in creating purchase orders and managing vendor relationships related to material supply.
