Role Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous and analytical Demand Planner to join our dynamic team at UFlex Limited. The Demand Planner will be responsible for forecasting future demand for our packaging products, ensuring optimal inventory levels, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet customer needs and business objectives. This role is crucial in driving efficiency and profitability within our supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts for a wide range of packaging products using statistical models and market intelligence.
- Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and promotional activities to identify demand drivers and potential risks.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Production, and Supply Chain teams to ensure forecast accuracy and alignment with business plans.
- Monitor inventory levels and work to optimize stock to meet service level targets while minimizing carrying costs.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies between forecasts and actual demand.
- Prepare and present demand planning reports, insights, and recommendations to management.
- Continuously evaluate and improve demand planning processes and tools.
- Support new product introductions and product lifecycle management through accurate demand forecasting.
