Demand Planner

Role Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Demand Planner with a B.Des degree to join our dynamic team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will leverage their understanding of consumer behavior and product design to forecast demand accurately, optimize inventory levels, and contribute to efficient supply chain operations within the fast-paced retail environment. This role is crucial in ensuring product availability and minimizing stockouts while managing inventory costs effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

* Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and promotional activities to develop accurate demand forecasts for various product categories.
* Collaborate with merchandising, marketing, and operations teams to understand product lifecycles, new product introductions, and potential demand drivers.
* Utilize forecasting software and tools to generate and refine demand plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
* Monitor inventory levels and identify potential overstock or stockout situations, recommending appropriate actions to mitigate risks.
* Work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely replenishment of stock.
* Prepare regular reports on demand forecasts, inventory performance, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of demand planning processes and systems.
* Translate design insights and consumer preferences into actionable demand planning strategies.
