Demand Planner - Travel & Tourism (2-4 Yrs)

Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and analytical Demand Planner with 2-4 years of experience to join our growing team in Ludhiana. The ideal candidate will be responsible for forecasting future travel demand, optimizing inventory levels, and ensuring efficient resource allocation within the travel and tourism sector. This role requires a strong understanding of data analysis, statistical modeling, and the ability to translate insights into actionable plans to meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts for various travel products and services (flights, hotels, packages) using historical data, market trends, and promotional activities.
- Analyze booking patterns, seasonality, and customer behavior to identify key drivers of demand.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to align demand forecasts with business strategies and promotional campaigns.
- Monitor inventory levels and recommend adjustments to optimize availability and minimize overstock/stockout situations.
- Identify and analyze discrepancies between forecast and actual demand, implementing corrective actions.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations on demand forecasts, key performance indicators, and market insights for senior management.
- Utilize statistical software and tools for forecasting, data analysis, and reporting.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of forecasting processes and methodologies.
