Dental Laboratory Technician

Role Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Dental Laboratory Technician to join our team. While our core business is in infrastructure, we are expanding into employee wellness initiatives and require a technician to manage and operate a small, in-house dental laboratory for the benefit of our employees. This role involves fabricating and repairing dental prosthetics and appliances with precision and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricate, construct, and repair full and partial dentures, crowns, bridges, and other dental prosthetics according to dentist's prescriptions.
- Operate and maintain dental laboratory equipment, including casting machines, furnaces, articulators, and polishing tools.
- Select appropriate materials (e.g., acrylics, ceramics, metals) for each dental restoration.
- Take precise measurements and impressions to ensure a perfect fit for prosthetics.
- Perform waxing, casting, and finishing of dental appliances.
- Ensure all work meets high standards of quality, aesthetics, and functionality.
- Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment, adhering to all safety and hygiene protocols.
- Collaborate with dentists and other dental professionals to discuss case requirements and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Keep accurate records of all laboratory work performed.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements and techniques in dental laboratory technology.
