Role Summary: The Department/Floor Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a specific department or floor within our mining and metals facility. This role requires strong leadership, operational efficiency, and a commitment to safety and quality standards. The manager will ensure smooth workflow, manage resources effectively, and lead a team to achieve production targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage all activities within the assigned department/floor.
- Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Monitor production processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Manage staff, including scheduling, performance evaluation, and training.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Maintain inventory and manage resource allocation.
- Implement and enforce quality control measures.
- Prepare daily/weekly operational reports.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions.
