Department / Floor Manager

Role Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Department/Floor Manager to oversee daily operations within a specific department or floor of our Chandigarh facility. This role requires a unique blend of managerial acumen and a strong understanding of regulatory compliance, leveraging your LLB degree to ensure adherence to all legal and operational standards. You will be responsible for managing a team, optimizing workflows, and ensuring a safe and efficient working environment for a team of 2-4 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the assigned department/floor, ensuring smooth operations and achievement of departmental goals.
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures, with a particular focus on health, safety, and environmental regulations relevant to the Oil & Gas sector.
- Manage staff, including scheduling, performance monitoring, and providing guidance and training.
- Liaise with other departments to ensure seamless inter-departmental workflow and communication.
- Monitor inventory and resource allocation to optimize efficiency and minimize waste.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and legal requirements.
- Handle minor employee grievances and escalate complex issues as per company protocol.
- Assist in the preparation of departmental reports and performance metrics.
- Stay updated on relevant legal and industry regulations affecting operations.
