Role Summary: We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Derivatives Trader with 0-2 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Chandigarh. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong analytical aptitude and a keen interest in financial markets, particularly within the context of the live entertainment and events industry. You will assist in managing financial risks and optimizing trading strategies under the guidance of senior traders. This position does not require a postgraduate degree.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in executing derivative trades (futures, options) as per trading strategies and risk management policies.
Monitor market trends, news, and economic indicators relevant to the events and live entertainment sector.
Support in analyzing trade performance and generating reports for senior management.
Learn and apply various trading strategies, including hedging and speculation.
Maintain accurate trading records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with internal teams to understand financial exposures and trading needs.
Develop a strong understanding of the financial instruments used in the events and live entertainment industry.
